Terms and conditons

Entry is open to current serving Australian Defence Force members, ex-serving Defence personnel, Defence civilians, reservists, veterans, and their immediate family members aged 18 years and over.
Entrants must be Australian residents.
Competition entry period closes on Monday 31 August 2026 at 6pm AEST, competition will be drawn live on Defence Holidays NQ Facebook on Tuesday 1 September.
The winner will be selected at random and notified via email and/or phone within 7 days of the competition closing date.
The prize consists of:
Two (2) return economy airfares from Australia to Denpasar, Bali.
Accommodation in Seminyak, Bali for two (2) adults.
Total prize value up to AUD $5,000.
Any expenses exceeding the prize value, including but not limited to meals, travel insurance, passports, visas, transfers, spending money, activities, and personal expenses, are the responsibility of the winner.
Travel must be booked through Defence Holidays NQ and completed by 31 May 2027.
Travel dates are subject to availability and may be restricted during peak travel periods, public holidays, school holidays, and blackout dates as determined by Defence Holidays NQ and travel suppliers.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.
If the winner is unable to travel, the prize will be forfeited and no alternative compensation will be provided.
The winner and their travel companion must meet all passport, visa, health, and travel requirements applicable at the time of travel.
Defence Holidays NQ reserves the right to verify eligibility and request proof of Defence affiliation before awarding the prize.
Incomplete, fraudulent, or duplicate entries may be deemed invalid.
Defence Holidays NQ reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary to do so.
Entrants who choose to opt in to receive communications from Smart consent to Smart collecting and using their contact details for marketing purposes.
